Survey Shows Collectors Loved The True Mantle Rookie Project!

May 14, 2021

After the success of the Jordan Project, we here at Cardscore recently launched The True Mantle Rookie Project which allowed collectors to use app.cardscore.com to score (grade) 30 different 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle rookie cards. The cards had professional grades ranging from 1.5-6.5. Collectors viewed high-resolution images of each card and gave them scores on a scale of 1-100.

We ran a survey regarding the participants in the Mantle project and we are thrilled to announce that people overwhelmingly loved it!  Thank you for the great feedback!

(You can also see the results of the survey we ran after the Jordan project by clicking here)

When we asked about overall satisfaction of The True Mantle Rookie Project, 83% of participants were satisfied or very satisfied.

Since collectors are not able to physically touch or view the card, image quality and zoom features are of extreme importance to use. It was great to see that these features were very well received with 90% of respondents saying they liked the image quality, while 87% liked the zoom features!

In the future, Cardscore plans to allow collectors to scan and submit their own cards to our database for scoring. This is an important step in our growth process, so we were encouraged to hear that 70% of participants would submit their own cards for scoring when those features become available!

We were most excited to see the results of the question that asked if they would participate in other Cardscore projects in the future that feature different cards. An astounding 93% responded that they would!

We appreciate everyone who took the time to participate in The True Mantle Rookie Project, and also those who took the survey. Respondents were also given the chance to provide a short answer with any feedback they would like to give on the project. We are taking the time to read through these responses and prioritize updates and modifications for our platform.

Cardscore is driven by YOU the collectors. Our goal is to allow the collector community to have a say in the card grading process. Your opinion matters to us, and that’s why we are taking the time to collect your feedback.

Please stay tuned for a new project to be announced in the near future. 93% of you said you would participate in another Cardscore project, so we’ll be delivering that to you very soon!
