Submit From Home

Cardscore Homebase allows you to purchase our patent pending technology to have a set up and submit your cards from home!

It’s the same exact technology that is found in a Cardscore kiosk in card shops. The only difference is this will allow you to have a personal setup to submit from the comfort of your own home.

Here’s how to get your own Cardscore Homebase setup:

  1. Purchase a Scorekey from Cardscore using this link: ORDER SCOREKEY
  2. Purchase an Epson V600 scanner from a local or online retailer. Find Epson V600 scanners using this link: ORDER SCANNER
The Scorekey

And that’s it! Our Scorekey is programmed to allow you to connect to the scanner using your device (phone, tablet, or computer).

Our patent pending Scorekey connects the Cardscore application on your device to the scanner and sends a high resolution image of a card directly to our server without the potential for manipulation.

Your Scorekey purchase will also come with a raw template which will allow you to submit standard sized raw cards for scoring (additional templates for other sized cards coming in the future). With this template, you are able to submit up to 9 cards at once!

We recommend connecting your Scorekey to Ethernet for the fastest scan times and the most reliable connection, although we have a WiFi option if you are unable to use Ethernet.

After your Scorekey purchase, you will receive instructions on how to set up your new device. You will also receive priority access to our team to troubleshoot any issues that arise. Cardscore is dedicated to provide relentless customer service and support.

What Our Service Provides

Cardscore is a scoring (grading) service unlike anything the sports and collectibles industry has ever seen.

Rather than a professional grader evaluating a card, the card that is submitted is evaluated by 50-100 collectors online.

It’s fun, quick, affordable, and the card never leaves the card owners possession. It is focused on bringing the power back into the hands of the collector community.

When the scoring process has completed, outliers are removed on both sides, and the score is averaged out to create a final Cardscore.

Cardscore’s economy level for a raw card is currently only $16. What does that get you? 50 collectors evaluate your card, the card never leaves your possession, results you can view in your account in 7-10 days, a physical sicker showing your results, and a magnetic one touch case for your card!

Our pricing model is simple. You pay based on how quickly you would like to receive your results. We have 3 different levels. Here is our current pricing and estimated turnaround time:

Priority: $30 (Current Estimated Completion Time 1-2 Days)

Standard: $20 (Current Estimated Completion Time 3-4 Days)

Economy: $10 (Current Estimated Completion Time 7-10 Days)

**There is a $5 fulfillment fee for professionally graded cards and a $6 fulfillment fee for raw cards.

Our pricing is updated over time based on the number of cards in the queue so that we can continue to offer a quick and reliable service. However, we are committed to continuing to keep pricing affordable and available to all collectors. We recommend looking at the pricing and estimated turnaround times at check out for the most up to date information.

The process is quick, easy, and affordable. It provides a new and alternative way to get the opinion of many collectors, and uses the data to come up with an accurate and fair result.

In addition to Cardscore RAW which allows collectors to submit raw cards for scoring, Cardscore also has a professionally graded service for cards that have been previously graded. It provides a specific metric for commonly used terms like "great eye appeal", "nicer", and "undergraded." A higher Cardscore than professionally graded can result in an increased market value for a card.

Next, we will be releasing Cardscore VERIFIED. This will utilize digital fingerprinting technology and allow for the verification of a card that has been scored in our system. If the card is a match, it can be sealed in the one touch case and give potential buyers the assurance that it is in fact the same card. See the image below for a full breakdown of the services.
