Cardscore NSCC Recap

August 5, 2021

Cardscore had an amazing time at the 41st annual National Sports Collectors Convention! Thanks to all those who were responsible for putting on an incredible show, and to everyone who stopped by Booth #859 to learn more about Cardscore!

This was the first time ever that collectors were able to submit raw cards for scoring! Previously, Cardscore only accepted cards that were already professionally graded. Cardscore RAW will be rolled out in card shops across the country next week! If you have a Cardscore-partnered shop in your area, you can now bring in your raw cards for scoring. Check out this 2020 Optic Rated Rookie Joe Burrow that was submitted to Cardscore and the score that our collectors gave it below!

We also had our new tabletop kiosks there, equipped with a scanner and our patent-pending scorekey device. These table top units will be available to card shops across the country as well as our larger kiosk.

During the NSCC, Cardscore also released our own app! "Cardscore Mobile" makes it easier than ever to score cards and view your collection from your phone or tablet. Cardscore Mobile is available for both iOS and Android devices, so download it now to start scoring!

Cardscore also hosted an NSCC After Party on Friday, July 30th at Joe's Live, which was an open to the public event allowing collectors to enjoy great food, music, Cardscore technology, and even meet Chicago Blackhawks legend Bobby Hull! Thank you to everyone who came out to the event, we hope that you had as good a time as we did! Thank you also to Joe's Live, ARRA and Bobby Hull for helping make the event a blast.

Joe's Live was an incredible host!

We were blessed to have a team of Cardscore Regional Representatives at the show to assist us just like in Houston. These hard working individuals are passionate collectors who heard about Cardscore and wanted to get involved. They traveled across the country to be there to help us out. Our Regional Representatives help bring Cardscore to their area and serve as a touch point for interested and partnered shops near them. If you’re interested in joining our regional representative program, please email us at info@cardscore.com. The position is flexible and part time, and pays on an hourly basis.

The NSCC was a great chance for us to meet with shops and vendors from across the country. A few card shops even took one of our new tabletop kiosks back to their shops with them! For a full list of Cardscore partnered shops go to https://www.cardscore.com/how-it-works/kiosk-locations. If you are a shop owner and would like to learn more about bringing Cardscore technology into your shop, please email us at info@cardscore.com.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make the NSCC an incredible event and opportunity for Cardscore! If you weren’t able to attend, don’t worry, Cardscore is continuing to spread to other card shows and shops across the country.

You can get involved now by creating an account and logging in at app.cardscore.com or downloading the "Cardscore Mobile" app! Sign up or log in and click the “Score Cards” button to get started. We have also begun compensating scorers for their time! To start getting paid, all you have to do is start scoring!
