Bulk Scanning

Bulk Scanning is Here!

Bulk scanning has launched and now allows Cardscore users to scan up to 9 raw cards at a time!

It is available now at all of our PARTNER SHOPS and to CARDSCORE HOMEBASE users.

This is a brand new way to scan where you can select 1, 3, 6, or 9 cards prior to initiating a scan. After making a selection, our platform will indicate where to place the cards in the 9 card template. 

You will also be directed to center the cards in the template as much as possible so the entire card is visible. 

Make sure the scanner bed is clean so no debris shows up in the scan. 

As a best practice, you should consider going to your device settings to prevent your device from going to sleep. This would prevent you from potentially needing to login to app.cardscore.com again.

However, if your device does go to sleep, you will be able to access your current scan session again, even if you get logged out. It's possible you will need to hit the bell icon in the upper right corner, and then click on the active session. It may take a minute for your device to catch up depending on the strength of your internet connection.

Once the scan is complete, check the preview image to ensure the cards appear centered and without debris. The preview will appear mirrored, this is so you can match your cards to what appears in the preview image. Regardless of the number of cards it will always show a preview of the full scanner bed.

After reviewing the scans, you will flip each card over and place the cards in the same exact slots of the template they were in to scan the backs. 

HELPFUL TIP: Use a penny sleeve to lift the cards up to avoid damaging them. 

Once the back side is complete, you will continue, and put in the information for each card. 

If you don’t have time to finish inputting the information after the scan, that’s fine, you can come back to it later. A card will show as PENDING in My Cards until the information is filled out. You will not be able to submit cards until PENDING cards are resolved as you have not yet completed that scanning session. 

Once you have finished putting in the information on each card, they can be submitted for scoring. You can submit multiple cards at once by clicking the slider in the upper right hand corner, then selecting each card that you want to submit.
